Susanna Mendlow

Susanna has collaborated with numerous artists, including Alan Kay, Frank Morelli, Dmitri Berlinsky, Colin Carr, Suren Bagratuni, and members of the Emerson Quartet.  She also has worked with composers Kaija Saariaho, Marc Neikrug, Frank Stemper, Stacy Garrop, and Judith Shatin, premiering works by the latter three.   The recipient of numerous prizes in New York City, she has performed in such venues as Alice Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Miller Theatre, Symphony Space, and Le Poisson Rouge. In 2012 and 2013 she was invited to play in Stony Brook University’s “Starry Nights,” an event that showcases select students and faculty.

She has received her bachelor’s degree in both psychology and music from Columbia University, her master’s degree from Michigan State University, and her doctorate degree from Stony Brook University.
