I a highly sought after freelance musician with a rich musical repertoire. Ms. Workman currently plays composed and improvised music on acoustic and electric cellos, and tours in the U.S. and abroad with her own band with stellar artists such as India Arie, Dionne Warwick, Kanye West, and Jay-Z and Avery Brooks, among others. She has freelanced with the Brooklyn Philharmonic, The Kitchen House Blend, and the Housing Authority Orchestra. Ms. Workman actively records for film and television and has appeared live on Good Morning America, Saturday Night Live, PBS, the Oprah Network, and NBC, as well as on various soundtracks such as Maid in Manhattan, Beyonce’s Baby Boy, and Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues. She has co-produced music with Michael Wimberly for Alvin Ailey II. Ms. Workman received a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music/Queen's College.
