Amalie Wyrick-Flax

Amalie has performed on a variety of chamber music series such as The Friends of Chamber Music of Reading, Music at the Landing, The French Alliance Institute Francais, and Music Alive. She has been a guest artist with Contemporaneous, Concordium Harmonie Ensemble, and the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra. Amalie has performed in major concert venues throughout China and Europe, and has collaborated with artists including Peter Serkin, Dawn Upshaw, Benjamin Hochman, Leon Botstein, and Itzhak Perlman. She appeared as a soloist with the American Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Leon Botstein in May 2014.
Amalie began her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance where she studied with Daniel Gilbert. She then continued at Bard College Conservatory of Music, where she studied with David Krakauer, Anthony McGill, and Laura Flax. Amalie is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree at Lynn Conservatory with Jon Manasse.
